Now now for the legal stuff….

Official rules:
Qualified Postings do not include:
• Items prohibited by the CollegeMedium Terms located at www.collegemedium.com/terms
• Items which Collegemedium, in its sole discretion, deem useless or insignificant in value (partially chewed gum, used toiletries, etc)
• Fraudulent and duplicate postings as determined by CollegeMedium.
Users are limited to one free song for each post per day. Multiple posts in one day only grant you one song. Users must notifify collegemedium.com of song choice in less than 12hrs period after posting an item.

The Postings have to be unique: The same user (as determined by email address) cannot post the same item on different days to win multiple songs. Duplicate posts by the same user are considered as one unique posting for contest purposes.

The Posting must be Complete: This means that the posting process must be completed and active, that is, the user must verify/activate the posting. Postings that are not verified/activated by the user are considered incomplete and would not be considered a complete posting.

Notification: CollegeMedium will notifiy iTunes no later than 48 hours after the poster notifies CollegeMedium with a song request. Please keep in mind iTunes may further delay the delivery of the song, in which case, CollegeMedium will have no bearing. CollegeMedium is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason.

Taxes: All taxes associated with the receipt or use of the Song are the sole responsibility of the winner. CollegeMedium reserves the right to withhold any taxes as required by applicable law. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions (including for cash) are permitted.

CollegeMedium MAKES AND GIVES NO REPRESENTATIONS, CONDITIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PROMOTION OR ANY PRIZE OR ANY ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION. Max combined winnings every 24hr period is 250 songs.

Max number of free songs per distinct email account is One(1).
Mas number of free songs given in a 24hr cycle is variably limited.

I’m excited!
Ok before I start I’d like to post a quick disclaimer: I’m operating on very little sleep.
We were up very late last night testing/programming and more testing the newest version of CollegeMedium.com and even though I know I should probably go to sleep now, I cannot contain my excitement with the new release, so I just had to let you guys know first!

There are many things we’ve done to enhance the CollegeMedium experience…here’s a short list

1. It’s now extremely easy to sell your book (trust me, try it out, if it sucks I’ll give you a dollar

2. We have a ‘Let’s Ride’ section for ride sharing (this is mainly for folks with a bus pass…now you can ride with friends!)

3. We’re interfaced with Google maps (you can post housing with your address and make it super easy for directions)

4. You can now post YouTube videos in the ‘Let’s talk’ section (there are some funny ones already posted..on the site)

5. We’re proud to be the first college centric site to install Geo-IP Technology ( you’ll only see classifieds that are revelant to your present location….)
