I want a premium watch for Christmas

November 28th, 2007 by CM

Ever since I was a boy, I always fancied a nice wrist watch.I’d even settle for a used rolex.  But don’t try to fool me I have some neat ideas on how to spot fake watches. Genuine Rolex watches are so detailed and distinct that even replica manufacturers miss the fine details. The best method I use is to get a picture of a genuine watch from an authorized site or catalog, and compare it to the one I’m looking to purchase. There will probably be some differences. For example, some watches the roman numeral markers in a lot of cases are larger than on the genuine ones. The SIZES are by far the easiest things to look for. Almost in every replica in the world, you will notice that even if the engravings/markings are correct, the sizes are always off slightly. Either the roman numeral markers are smaller, the luminescent markers are smaller, or commonly, the minute/hour hands are not the same size and shape.

So I’ve been searching the web lately for some fine estate jewelry to feast on and being that it’s the holidays deals are everywhere. There are also many sites that sell watches but you really have to be careful which one you choose.
